About the Event

You are invited to attend this free workshop to learn about an evidence-based approach addressing workforce needs whilst providing employment opportunities to people with disability.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in learning about how customised employment can support employer needs whilst enabling people with disability reach employment goals including local employers, business operators, disability employment services, NDIS funded service providers, people with disability and family members.

Workshop agenda

  • 9.30am to 11.30am - Customised Employment for Employers 
    Employer focus, designed to enthuse and motivate interest in a contemporary approach to meeting the staffing needs of local employers.
  • 11.30am 12noon - Networking Lunch
  • 12 noon to 4pm - Customised Employment Unpacked
    Discover some of the details to facilitate the customised employment approach including the discovery phase and job task analysis.

The afternoon session will provide attendees with part one of the required Customised Employment facilitator training.

Part two of this training will be covered on 20 September or 4 October.
